Nails of the Day: Coterie ♥ Julep

I've had a lot of nail polish love since leaving NYC. Both Julep Maven polishes and Butter London from Coterie have been gracing my nails these past weeks. So I decided to show you muses a couple of my favorite colors from these two collections.Otte by Trina Turk ~ West End Wonderland ~ Annie by Trina Turk ~ Knackered

The Julep colors are part of the Trina Turk collection, and they just so happen to blend really well with the Butter London nail lacquers from Coterie. The Julep polishes are 4-free and the Butter London colors are 3-free. Neither contain any formaldehyde, toluene or DBP, but Julep also does not have formaldehyde resin.I used the Julep colors as my base coats and the Butter London colors as top coats since they have shimmer.  The idea of using two polish colors on your nails is really enticing to me. But I also like the accent nail trend as well. After I did this I put on the matte finish topcoat by Butter London, and I must say, it is pretty cool. It really does mattify the colors--even the shimmer. What do you think of these nail colors?

Have you tried either before--if so, which is your favorite?

  1. Those are gorgeous, love that purple one at the top on the right, that is wonderful! The glitter one is also quite pretty too. I got some glitter nail polish, it takes forever to get on and it took ages to get off, haha!! But, I still enjoyed it :)) I got blue glitter, but I think I will go back and get a purple or red glitter polish :)) Hope you have a great weekend x

  22. I recently started using butter London nail polish and I really like it. It lasts pretty long on my nails - about 3 to 4 days before chipping. That's a good run for me. Some polish starts to chip after one day of wear. My favorite color is "wallis". It's an olive gold with a lot of shimmer and perfect for fall!

I have only recently been getting back into visiting blogs. Thank you for sticking with me and being such a wonderful friend, Cherly! <3 Hope you are doing well and enjoying autumn.
