Lookbook: St. Paddy's Fire

First, thank you spring for finally showing your face in these parts. I couldn't be happier, as you can clearly see by my St. Paddy's Day inspired outfit. Yes, I wore this over the weekend, saw The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and yada, yada, yada. But let me rant right quick:Brick and mortar stores need to step up their customer service game. I went to a store that I know many of us shop at (but shall not be named) and had a really bad experience with the fitting room attendant; advertised products were nowhere to be found; and the entire store was disheveled. I was in there for 45 minutes and found absolutely nothing to buy. Then I stopped by a Marshalls, of all places, and found some really cute stuff (like these shorts), along with super attentive and nice employees. It was a complete 180. So thank you, Marshalls, for keeping brick and mortar customer service alive. End Scene.| Prabal Gurung for Target First Date print top | Marshalls polka dot shorts (similar) | Ray-Ban light havana folding sunglasses c/o ReadingGlasses.com (similar) | XVII Spineless ring c/o ShopLately | Target crossbody bag (similar) | Zara high heel sandal (similar) |If you follow me on Twitter then you know I was looking for a rooftop for this shoot. This is the best I could do in the time I had this weekend.

Day 25 ~ A Song That Makes You Laugh: My Humps by Alanis Morissette ~ I know it's old, but I heard this cover for the first thanks to Jenny Benny, and I think it's totally hilarious. It's amazing how turning a fast song into a slow song can make it sound so stupid and funny at the same time.

Day 26 ~ A Song That You Can Play on an Instrument: Greensleeves ~ This is the first song I learned how to play and pretty much one of the only songs I know how to play on the piano. It's impressive the first time I play it, but after that it's just annoying, lol.

  4. Cheryl, those shorts are so cute!!! And you know I love that top! That's what made me stop shopping at stores. It can be so frustrating and no one is doing their job! Glad Marshall's was good! The one we have here is the same. Beautiful look Cheryl! Have a great week!

  6. I walked down the aisle at my wedding to Greensleeves being played on a lute and virginals...I love that tune. Sorry, that was an aside. Sorry about your poor retail experience, I always fine it super frustrating when that happens.

  7. I love those shorts on you!
Ugh I hate bad service. It is interesting because some stores in Asia can leave you alone while others smother you with service. I really need to stop at Marshall's.
