Lookbook: Warriors, Come Out to Play

Can you tell by these photos that it was a bit of a rainy weekend in my neck of the woods? I hate rainy weekends. I just want to go out and play in my playsuit on warm, sunny days that help release endorphins.

But let's talk body shapes for a minute. I'm 5'3" on a good day and weigh pretty much the ideal body weight for a woman my height, my frame and my age (I'll be 28 on the 23rd of this month, by the way). But I don't know if it's because I was a gymnast when I was a kid or if it's just genetic, but I have muscular arms. You can always get two tickets to the gun show when you're with me--and I don't work out my biceps at all!

With that said, fitting into certain tops and dresses can be awkward because even if the rest of it fits, the sleeves might be an issue. And that's exactly why I love this Boohoo playsuit so much. Everything fits like a damn glove. And the best part? POCKETS! Pockets on a dress/romper/playsuit make me excited--like Jessie Spano doped up on caffeine pills, excited. Or like waking up and realizing it's a sunny Saturday.

  2. Pockets are totally key! I also love the color and print. Great arms are awesome and hey, if you gotta search for great pieces to showcase them, so be it!

  3. This is such an awesome outfit (don't we all have those weird little bits of our bodies that make finding the right fit tricky?)! I seriously love every piece of it...and the post title - that's one of my favourite movies.

  4. You and I have the same issue...I am 5'5'' and weight pretty much my ideal weight and I've never worked out my arms and shoulders, but when it comes to trying on things, I can get stuck when i try to put my arms in, haha. Everywhere else will fit, but my arms get stuck, I've had to rescued, haha. So when I do exercise, I try not to do anything that will make my arms any bigger, I have muscles and I don't know where they came from. Love this dress and blazer with it, so gorgeous xx

  9. How funny, I had no idea you were 5'3" I think we all have things like that with our bodies. I was in gymnastics growing up for seven or so years, that's why at first I could not model, they said my biceps were too sporty, haha. I think you look great, and I love the excellent sequins jacket. :)
