Lookbook: Black Out Days

Would you believe me if I told you I ironed these shorts an hour before these photos? I wouldn't either. They're super comfortable and I love the sailor themed belt, but they're prone to wrinkles. How about the top? It's got a cool scribble detail that instantly caught my eye. Anyway, I took these photos in Santana Row before heading to dinner and Maleficent. I'll share my thoughts on the movie in the next post so stay tuned.

Sunday we went to Live BFD--an all day music festival. When I went last year I fell in love with Of Monsters and Men. This year I mainly went to see Phantogram and M.I.A. In fact, the title of this post is a Phantogram song--and my current obsession. Listen here. But I also really loved Fitz and the Tantrums. They are killer performers. Didn't stay for the headliners--Foster the People--as it was Sunday night and Game of Thrones was on. So...you know, lol.

  2. Gorgeous, I love the top design and shorts. I have a few things in the wardrobe that no matter how much I iron them, they show wrinkles before I even leave the house. But, it doesn't take away from how cute they are!! I like the added scarf and hat!! Happy Monday doll xx

  5. Sounds like you had a great weekend! We're moving in a few weeks so all my weekends lately are spent at home, packing. It's not super fun.

And OMG! Dying to see Maleficent! Can't wait to see the review. I'm thinking of taking the kids, but I don't know if it's appropriate for their ages.

  8. Sounds like good fun--I love M.I.A., but have only seen her once. Summer is my favourite for live music, I'm off to a show later next week. :) Love the shorts!

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Maleficent; I saw it this weekend and had mixed feelings, even though I really wanted to love it.
