Oscar Predictions 2016

Over the years, I've given less and less thought to the Academy Awards (and award shows in general). I've noticed that they've become quite trite and predictable. And don't even get me started on the lack of diversity! Usually, I still end up watching the red carpets or the musical performances, and then end up Googling the winners later on. But this time around, I thought I'd share my Oscar predictions here (for some of the categories) since I haven't really done a true post like this since 2010. Yes, I've been blogging for like a million years.

So the items in bold are the ones that I think will win, and the items in red are the ones I want to win. If something happens to be both red and bold, then I guess me and the Academy are on the same page. The Oscars -- 88th Academy Awards -- air Sunday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. PST.
