Inspiring Style: Wedding Manolos

A good friend of mine is getting married next year back in south Florida and I'm very excited for her. She is marrying her high school sweetheart (just like I did). She knows her style and is a fan of Carrie Bradshaw and the Sex and the City girls. That's why it's no surprise that she is interested in wearing Manolo Blahniks to her wedding.

So I went to one of my favorite sites, Beso, to see what I could find for her.

beso-blahnikNow, what bride wouldn't like to wear a pair of Manolos on their feet on their wedding day? The ladylike pumps are made from great leather material and obviously have a fanciful history. Here are a few that I think she'll like.

    There's a pair that Carrie wears that I always thought would be so perfect for a wedding - they're silver with a peep toe and a diamond buckle, I'm still in awe of those!

    Not going to lie -- Totally looking at Manolos for my wedding next year. More than likely, I will be rocking a pair of Louboutins, though. I just have to.

    love this idea. my sister surprised me with louboutins and it was the best wedding present ever. i seriously think it's important to have an amazing pair of shoes on your big day.

    Hey! I'm the friend getting married and I must say I am ecstatic about this post. Just thought I'd share what I found: Hangisi Satin Pump in cranberry red! I found them online on Neiman Marcus. They are the exact show from the Sex and the City movie that Carrie decided to have as her something blue! My issue is that I am obligated to wear flats! I know, how can you ask a fashionista to wear flats on her wedding day! Nevertheless, the shoes here are AMAZING!! I can keep you updated on the status of my wedding shoes :)

    great post! I know that Carrie wears them but I'm just not a huge fan of most Manolo Blahnik. I'm not sure why. I do really love the colors and materials they use though.

    I love Manolos! For a while I was like the only men in my life are Louis, Christian and Manolo, and people would go like huh? ... I'd say Vuitton, Louboutin and Blahnik, ha ha! ... it's so cool that your friend want to wear them for her wedding, think Carrie has had a told on all of us!

    How hot are those Peek-a-boo pumps! I love brides that wear colorful heels or flats under their gowns! I wish I could have found some for my wedding....but I wear a size 11 so it was difficult enough!

    Oh I think Manolo's are just timeless...love the ones you picked above. I totally remember when Carrie exclaimed those words in the Vogue wardrobe closet, lol. Love that you have mid-heel options for your friend/bride to be; if I get married I need shoes I can dance in ;)
