Met up with some friends for an end of winter libation celebration (cute name, right?) over the weekend and this is what I wore. I'm really trying my hardest to bring spring to my doorstep by wearing nolita print last week and shorts this week. Is it working?
At least it's March. And I don't know if winter knows this, but it doesn't really belong in this month. By the way, thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes and social media interaction. You guys make my day.

The funniest moment of the night? When a guy came up to me and said, "I've been told that you were the person to answer my question." He wanted to know what makes a pump a pump? Since I was the resident fashion blogger, I had a conversation about the difference between a pump and a sandal and whatnot. FYI: a pump is pretty much a heeled, snug-fit shoe without any straps. Its meaning derives from the piston of the water pump, which is sort of shaped like a shoe. And that's your history lesson for the day, kiddos.
The Gold Spike Chain Link Hand Chain that I'm wearing from Lola Fashion Accessories is one of the coolest pieces of jewelry that I've ever come across. You might remember me showcasing it on Instagram. It has some stretch so it comfortably fits from your middle finger to your wrist and the band is also adjustable. All the fashion-forward jewelry on Lola Fashion Accessories is celebrity inspired and affordable. I know you'll find a lot of one-of-a-kind pieces all under $100 on this fashion website.

What do you think of this look?

♥ Day 13 ~ A Song That Is a Guilty Pleasure: Let's Have a Kiki by Scissor Sisters ~ I first heard this song on Glee and I was like, "What the f?" and then it started to grow on me. Now I totally love it and I want to have a kiki like every day.
♥ Day 14 ~ A Song That No One Would Expect You Love: Mo Money, Mo Problems by Notorious B.I.G. ~ I picked this song because I don't listen to a lot of hip hop these days, but back in the day I was all over this song. So much so that I know all the words (and I still turn it all the way up when it comes on while I'm driving).
