Lookbook: The Bare Necessities

Happy MLK Day! Hand on hat is my go-to pose. I know each of us has that thing that we do that just works, and this is mine. Enjoying the three-day weekend so much (every weekend should be 3 days) that I took these photos a bit late and had to deal with the shadows. But I think they actually work pretty well on this bridge.

My take on a beautiful look by Miroslava Duma that I pinned recently. I just couldn't get enough of the rolled up, big sleeves and overall beauty of such a casual style. When I saw this Steve Madden coat at TJ Maxx over the weekend, I knew it would be a great take on a fashion week look in a mix of high/low pieces. The inspiration:
