Recently, I was sent some wonderful makeup products from Simple Beauty Minerals. This company is all about healthy beauty products and honesty, which is why they're a fan of un-photo shopped images on their site.
I've been wearing liquid foundation a lot, but have always enjoyed mineral makeup because it's comfortable to apply. I don't even feel like I'm wearing makeup and I never have to worry about my face looking too shiny.
All of the Simple Beauty products that I received are the perfect size to fit in an on-the-go bag. And I'm loving all the cute Shopbop cosmetic pouches for summer, especially the It's a Wonderful Life...After Coffee bag! Check out the list of the beauty items I received below.
Pure Primer ($3 - one gram) -- Obviously, if you're putting makeup on your face, then you're starting off with a moisturizer and a primer. This primer was light and dusty, and my makeup lasted from 7 in the morning until 9 at night without the need to re-apply.
Warm Mineral Foundation ($25) -- I got the foundation in both a warm 4 and a warm 5 as I wasn't entirely sure which would be best for my skin tone. The warm 4 is more of a yellow tint while warm 5 is more brown. So I actually used both since the foundations are very buildable and weightless.
Dusk Cheek Color ($16) -- It's so awesome! I can't believe that I didn't start wearing blush until a couple years ago. What the hell was I thinking? Blush in this beautiful dusk shade adds great color.
Silk Splendor Finish Powder ($3 - one gram) -- For outfit photos I tried the silky finish powder to add a glow. I love that it made my skin look young, but it also added some glittery sparkle, and if there's one thing I hate, it's glitter.
Warm Matte Finish Powder ($3 - one gram) -- I tried this matte finish powder the second time around because a matte finish minimizes fine lines and works for everyday wear.
sounds like that is a powder primer? very cool!! never tried! love these photos of you :)
