Rustic Spring With Uncommon Goods

As you've seen in a few other posts on the Muse, I like a very simple decor style, but I also like to introduce unique rustic pieces whenever I can. That's why it's so great to work with Uncommon Goods as they are known for their creative pieces in jewelry, art and home decor.

So I wanted to get personalized gifts like these for the hubs, or at least something that would suit my decor taste and his style as well. It's not always easy buying gifts for men like these options, but Uncommon Goods makes the gift giving process a lot easier. Fortunately for me, the hubs is really into maps, and I'm really into unique pieces. So when I found this reclaimed barn wood USA side table, I knew that it would be a home run. It's furniture style like this that makes a statement. And they come in state pieces, too, so you can rep your hood!
To add some femininity to the boldness of the rustic wood table, I opted for this caterpillar bud vase that includes a row of six glasses that hold delicate floral centerpieces. You can get the smaller one like I did or choose the bigger that holds four vases and perfect for single stem peonies. There are so many ways to spruce up your home decor like this, and I find adding unique vases and beautiful flowers always makes a home look more vibrant!
I finished off decorating this little side table with the help of my Uncommon Goods love tokens. These pewter vouchers share tokens of appreciation with sayings like, "good for one kiss," "good for breakfast in bed," and even a massage token. I'm sure you've seen these little love coupons before, but you've probably never seen them in token form. Seriously -- how cute!
Lastly, you can't have a cute table and nothing delicious to drink when sitting next to it! So I got these awesome fruit infusing ice balls that are so simple to use. Just open the ball and add in whatever fruit you choose. I added watermelon, blueberries and raspberries to my ice balls. Then add water to the fill line on the ball and close the top lid. Place the ball in the freezer until frozen. When you're ready, take the frozen fruit flavored ice ball out of the container and place it in your favorite spring or summer beverage. I went with sparkling wine, but these would be fun in a lemonade or ginger beer as well. And you can even put in your favorite herbs instead of fruit.
Uncommon Goods is a privately-owned retailer that features a variety of jewelry, decor and handcrafted gift items that are created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people. It's their mission to support and provide a platform for designers and artists. Half of what they sell is made by hand and most of the items are made in the US! Also, about one-third of the entire collection incorporates upcycled and/or recycled materials. When you choose Uncommon Goods, you're getting responsibility, creativity and integrity.

Disclosure: The items in this post were gifted to me by Uncommon Goods. All opinions are my own.

  9. Their fruit infused ice balls are very cool, I've only used square molds. Great tokens too, to add to the table! :)
