Saturday was so busy that I was happier than ever to be able to relax on Sunday -- even though relaxing for me means blog stuff, gym, reading and Game of Thrones. If you follow over on Snapchat (ohtobeamuse) then you saw that I attended a Steampunk Masquerade in Oakland.
It was an amalgamation of people on stilts, fire breathing, pole dancing, silent discos, games, crafts, tilt-a-whirl -- all while everyone was dressed up in their best Mad Max meets Book of Eli meets Victorian era fashions. It was crazy! But at least I now have a fab theme for this year's Halloween party. And no, this is not what I wore. I was appropriately styled in goggles and a mini top hat. Also glad because the event gave me a good reason to reuse portions of this look!
But I had to take a few snaps of this gorgeous daisy dress from Chicwish -- yet another winner winner, chicken dinner. It's very similar to this crochet one from last year. But if it ain't broke, then get it in every style -- that's what they say, right? And let's not forget about the perfect for summer polka dot chambray bow head wrap. The dress and head wrap together paired beautifully with my mismatched weekend nails. What do you guys think of this spring look?
Oh, and my latest jewelry obsession is marble. I can't get enough of unique marble pieces on rings and cuffs. Are you diggin' this SLATE moonlight daydream cuff? Then get it from Rocksbox by using my code CHERYLBFF59 to get your first box free! More marble beauties to come...

ReplyDeleteEverything about this outfit just works, Cheryl! :) I don't usually go for very feminine pieces, but this dress is just fab!
ReplyDeletePS I loved last nite's episode! All the pieces are falling into place, eh? And how kick ass was Daenerys!?!? How can fans be mad that she's immune to fire? The show never really followed the books closely!
