Bad & Boujee

It's really not like me to dress this way. This is a whole lot of sex appeal, and I'm usually more of a comfy/chic kind of girl. But this is a little "bad and boujee" if I do say so myself. Colorful faux fur, a form-fitting sweater dress, lace-up OTK boots and "closer to God" Texas hair! Maybe if I didn't have the coat -- maybe if I wore flats -- maybe if I had a different hairstyle. There's just a whole lot going on in this look, don't you think? But I kind of dig it for every now and then.

I will say that this was such an easy shoot. For one, the weather was working in my favor. It was warm and not rainy. I liked practically every photo in this shoot; we didn't have to take too many shots; and we were in and out in no time. Don't you ladies just love when your photo shoots go that way? Right lighting, right timing, right look.

Maybe it's my attempt at rockin' fabulous hair as cool as that other Sheryl. And did I mention that this entire look came from Amazon? No lie. Everything from head to toe (except the sunnies). Sometimes I get caught up in my love for fast shipping and great deals. Later in the day I did switch out the lace-up boots and faux fur coat for some chucks and a bomber jacket (comfy chic) to get brunch. I didn't really have anything exciting planned over the weekend (and even when I do, I don't always attend) because what can I say -- I'm a home body. Do you tend to spend your weekends with a chill vibe or with more of a go-get-em vibe? I switch between the two, but opt for a chill vibe whenever possible.
