Happy middle of the month and day after Easter (and the first weekend in Coachella)! I didn't do anything Easter or Coachella related over the weekend, but I did attend yoga after not going for more than a year. It wasn't easy. But it actually made me think that I'd like to try pilates. I've never done it, but I really want to get myself on one of those studio reformer machines. Have you tried pilates?
But I digress. This post is not about pilates. I wanted to share what I wore on my anniversary date a week ago. Because I like to dress up but still maintain comfort, I paired this Chicwish dress with lace up sandals from ASOS. I know it would have looked great with heels, but I'm ready for warm sandal weather (which, I must add, arrived on Saturday). And let's be honest, no one is really looking at my shoes when this dress has such fun sleeves, right? I love the buttoned and flared design. It's what takes this from a regular little black dress to something more.
This is going to be a short week for me. I have another post coming up tomorrow, which I know I don't typically post on Tuesdays. But that's because on Wednesday I'm off to Seattle! I can't believe it's taken me five years of residing on the west coast to finally visit Seattle. If you've visited and have any recommendations of where to eat, where to get coffee (not the original Starbucks), where to take cute photos, then please let me know in the comments below. I'm definitely also interested in visiting places like the Chihuly Garden and Glass, the EMP, the Waterfall Garden Park and the Space Needle. But I'd love to know about the less touristy places and also the Insta-worthy places as well. I'm a conundrum.
