I randomly found myself on the Dillard's website the other day. I never really shop there, and I don't purchase clothes all that often, but I saw a piece on that site that I was enamored with. Then one thing led to another and I ended up buying like four things from the site. This GB striped culotte jumpsuit was one of them. You guys already know by now that it's hard for me to resist a jumpsuit, especially in the summer.
Even though I ordered these cashmere pearl sandals in mauve suede, I was actually sent the black versions at first. But, fortunately, they were really good about getting me the mauve ones in time for me to bring them along with me to Jamaica. And you know that blush is having a moment right now. But what really drew me to the shoes were the faux pearls embedded in the heels and the short heel height, which makes them so easy to wear with just about anything, just about anywhere. Seeing that I was on an island for the last few days, these were the highest heels I needed.
To be honest, you guys are reading this while I'm still traveling (follow along with me on my Instastories). I won't be home until later tonight, so I'll be sure to catch up with your blogs on Tuesday. I'm not sure if I'll be sharing any Jamaica photos on here, but you'll definitely see some on the gram. Check out this post to see an adventure I had with stilts and to see the hubs' jumping off a cliff! Oh, did I ever tell you muses why I even went to Jamaica? Well, my sister just celebrated a milestone birthday -- she turned 50! Sidenote: I have 4 older siblings -- two brothers & two sisters -- and we are not close in age. So since it was a big birthday, she wanted to do it big by celebrating with her friends and family back home. My sister, Jennifer, has never been a party girl so this was a huge deal for all of us.
