Back in August, I was contacted by Farfetch to take part in their editorial partnership with the Temperley clothing brand. Farfetch is an online retailer that specializes in luxury fashion and accessories, and Temperley London is a style-setting brand known for its embellished gowns. For this partnership, I (along with four other Bay Area bloggers) was able to do a photo shoot showcasing pieces from the Temperley Winter 17 collection (and keep the dresses)!
The theme of the shoot was to pose the intricate and exquisite fabrics of the Temperley dresses against a rough and rugged industrial style background in San Francisco. This Rider dress immediately caught my eye, especially in this claret (burgundy) color. It also comes in flax (gold) and ivory. I styled it with my Steve Madden Edit booties (they also come in a gorgeous blush velvet) to keep the burgundy/wine style going.
See more photos from my shoot on the gram and in the Farfetch article here. Lastly, I also did a Perfect 10 feature on the Farfetch website. My feature was all about the 10 best kinds of basics -- everyday closet staples with a kick.
Another thing I'm loving in September might be something you've heard a lot about lately: sock boots! I saw a few women wearing the sock boot trend at NYFW a couple weeks ago (mainly the kitten heel red version). What I really love about sock boots is how completely perfect they are for fall. Boots clearly scream autumn, and the high sock design keeps you warm. A definite ode to leg warmers, for sure, which I've always been a fan of! Are you into it?
Lastly, all things Philosophy! I was sent a goodie bag from Philosophy a week ago and I'm loving their pure grace and microdelivery collections. Included in the collections are the microdelivery resurfacing peel, the triple-acid brightening peel, the pure grace nude rose body lotion, the when hope is not enough night serum, the pure grace nude rose fragrance and more! Let me know if you've tried any of these in the comments below.
I'm really digging all these skin care products from Philosophy, especially the purity made simple micellar cleansing water and the renewed hope in a jar for dry skin. Micellar cleansing water has been on trend for easily removing dirt and hydrating skin. And the renewed hope in a jar is perfect for refreshing my dry skin. Fan of Philosophy?
