Please don't mind all the dog fur on my hat. I have dogs. It happens.
This past weekend, I traveled to Palm Springs (Indian Wells, to be specific) for the BNP Paribas Open. That's a tennis tournament that I've been meaning to attend ever since we moved to California at the end of 2012. In case you don't know, I'm a big tennis fan. I've been watching it for many, many years; the hubs has been playing for almost all his life; and if I do say so myself, I have a pretty sweet backhand. So a few of us bought grounds passes to watch the 2nd Round of the ATP and the 3rd Round of the WTA. Maybe you followed along with me on my Instastories?
These photos were actually taken a couple weeks ago when I went to see Black Panther on a Sunday afternoon. Have you all seen it yet? I would hope so. The movie was quite spectacular. I supremely enjoyed the acting, the visuals and the deep story line. It was definitely more than just another Marvel movie. I haven't been reviewing any movies on the blog lately, but you should know that Black Panther would definitely get five hearts. ♥♥♥♥♥
Also, can I just say how much I'm loving my makeup in these photos? That smoky eye, though! While the coolest piece in this look is definitely the RD + Koko kimono, I never thought I would actually own one. But then I saw this one and fell in love with the colors. Even though the kimono is the coolest, my favorite piece is really the striped zip-front top. It's just super easy and chic at the same time. I'm totally considering getting it in yellow as well.
