The Button-Down Midi Dress for Summer and Fall

Wow, muses! I haven't done an outfit post on here since the end of May! I almost forgot how to do them, lol. Anyway, can you see my summer tan? It's crazy. Most of this came from my trip, specifically one long day on an ATV. But before we know it, summer will turn into fall. And that's actually one thing I really love about this button down midi dress -- it's pretty perfect for both the summer months and early fall -- at least here in California.

I'm sure you've seen this dress style a lot lately -- it's been having a moment. So I figured I'd give it a go for my first look back. The reason why I think this dress is so cool is because of the asymmetrical button design on the top portion. That really gives your eye a path to focus on. It's funny how such a small detail can really make a look.

This is what I wore to a local tennis tournament. Right after these photos, I hopped on one of those motorized scooters (have you seen them in your city?) -- midi dress and all -- and headed to the tournament to watch the ladies semifinals. I actually really enjoy watching sporting events live and up close. Everything is just a little faster, a little louder, a little more fun. Have you seen any sporting events in person?
