Quick recap for Oh to Be a Muse:
- I haven't mentioned anything about the passing of Michael Jackson, but seriously, I am quite sad about that. Although he was weird, he was still the effing best at his craft. This is why I'm happy to hear that his mother got custody of his kids instead of the lady who carried the kids in her gut. I think she just might be a money whore. Now if we could only silence pappa Joe.
- So, I'm not sure what the reviews have said about this movie--and I don't really care to look at them either--but I really want to see the new Judd Apatow movie "Funny People" this weekend. We all know that I see just about every movie under the sun (or at least all the good ones), so I'll let you know what I think of this latest Apatow endeavor. It looks good to me. Makes me miss the days of constant sarcasm...
- True Blood is my new favorite thing. Yes, I know, last year it was Heroes...but this time it's True Blood! Ari and I watched the first season in like 3 days, and we're almost up to speed with season 2. Since we don't have HBO (wtf?) we'll just have to download or change our cable service until we get HBO. I mean, I like what Alan Ball has to offer because I was a big fan of Six Feet Under. Plus, the show is actually quite entertaining once you realize that it's not just a vampire show, and it's not supposed to be serious. It's a bit all over the place but in a good way. And it's funny as hell.
Lafayette + Jason = comic relief
Tonight Ari and I get to go back to Taverna Opa as Ashlee is having her birthday dinner there. You know what that means: table dancing! Looking forward to a good weekend. I'll take photos.
Sidenote: taking a trip to California in December...who's with me?
