My hubby and I had a date night and we ate at Brio. It was a lot of fun and so nice to do something like that in the middle of the week. Anyone ever been to Brio?

After we ate we walked around the shops by the restaurant and guess what I found? Sephora! This is what I bought (or what my hubby bought me as part of the date night).

Lash brush and comb
Now that I have fairly visible lashes I'll have to start shaping them to my pleasing.

Clinique Liquid Face Soap
Boots No7 Tinted Moisturizer

And I didn't buy this at Sephora but at Target beforehand. It's a new product for me, but I haven't really written about it so why not do that here.

You know when you smell something and the smell is so distinct that you swear you can taste it? That's what the Boots and Clinique products are like.

Boots No7 Tinted Moisturizer
The moisturizer is sheer and very soft. Aside from the smell, it's hardly noticeable. The box says it hydrates for 12 hours which is a definite plus. I've read that a foundation is like lipstick while a tinted moisturizer is like lipgloss, and I totally agree. Although I will continue to use this product because it goes on well, adds a bit of shine (or should I say radiance) to my skin and is less product than foundation, I still think I will use foundation some days for the overall even coverage.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap
I went into Sephora and asked the very approachable staff what kind of cleanser I should use for my skin type. She gave me a few options including this one so I went with it.

It's gentle and good for a dry skin combination. My face definitely felt clean, but I had to use a moisturizer right after (which you totally should anyway) as I had that tight-skin feeling. It's clear when it comes out of the bottle but then creates a bit of a foam when rubbed on your face. The overall smell is pretty irritating, but I do feel like it's working when it's on my skin.
