Let me tell you how much i loved this movie...

i've been wanting to see Kick-Ass since the trailers and i had hoped it was going to at least be decent. but i was wrong...it was much better than decent. so refreshing to see a comic book movie that wasn't made in typical comic book fashion--and it wasn't in 3D!

take note hollywood, a movie can be great without being in 3d.
(i.e. clash of the titans totally missed the mark)

anyway, the characters were great and the story line was entertaining. hilarity ensued.

basically, a regular kid decides to fight crime even though he has no superpowers. he meets a father-daughter duo who have mad ass-kicking skills. their goal is to take down a crime boss.

and Nick Cage was actually quite good in this movie too. well done.

she was just amazing in this movie! if she looks familiar it's because she was in 500 Days of Summer.
