There is a first time for everything. I get a good amount of mags each month...Entertainment Weekly, Allure, Cosmo, Glamour, etc...but I mainly just browse through them for makeup tips, fashion trends, and movies to stay away from over the weekend.
I've never really been inspired to put any fashion spreads from said mags on my site until recently. My father-in-law keeps sending over W Magazine. Now, I have no idea how he keeps getting W Magazine, but the point is, he gets it and says something to the effect of "Cheryl would like this for her blog!"
How right you are, sir! The September issue of the mag is brilliant. I can't say it's text heavy, because it's not. But the oversize pages and beautiful photography truly capture fashion at its best. So here are some photos that caught my eye--first time for everything.
Model: Lara Stone
Designer: Oscar de la Renta
Photographer: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott
Designer: Vera Wang
Photographer: Alasdair McLellan
Model: Barbara Palvin

Anyone attending Fashion's Night Out?
The site says: "The 2010 edition of the biggest fashion party in history promises to be equally epic, splurge inspiring and full of even more stylish surprises."
Basically, numerous retailers will open their shops to you with one-night-only discounts and major events like runway shows, free food and drinks, and hair and makeup consults.
The best part: it's global! Go to the site and find the event in your area.
