Here is a video I've compiled of my weekend in L.A. featuring my hubby, a couple friends and a blogger meetup!

Last weekend the hubs and I took a little trip to Los Angeles for his 26th birthday. We have a couple of friends who live there, and since we live in Phoenix now we thought it would be a pretty easy drive.
It took us about six hours to get there, but we had a nice hotel on Venice Beach. Friday we just went out for some drinks since we got in pretty late. We spent Saturday getting a large Dim Sum breakfast, hitting up the beach, driving around Venice and then taking a trip to Hollywood.
We went to a really funny improv show hosted by the Upright Citizens Brigade. Afterward we had breakfast for dinner at 101 Coffee Shop before heading to a club on Hollywood Boulevard. We were hoping to go to an 80s night theme but instead got caught up in a Gothic Alice in Wonderland theme. It was a bit weird to say the least.Sunday I met up with two lovely bloggers: Jamie from Glam Latte and Mel of Modanista Junkie. We went to the Venice boardwalk and had breakfast and mimosas at Sidewalk Cafe. It was so great to finally meet some bloggers, especially ones as fun and great as Mel and Jamie!
