Phoenix Fashion at the MIM ~ Emerging Designer Announcement

trioThe other night I checked out a designers' showcase for the upcoming Phoenix Fashion Week with Mandy of Kini Style Files and Dany of Loves Pretty Things.

I'm wearing my recently thrifted green belt and also my new vintage clutch that was sadly cut out of the group photo. Don't you just love the detail on Mandy's dress and that wonderful vintage necklace that Dany is wearing?

looks-1The Emerging Designer Showcase was held at the Musical Instrument Museum, which is where the Fashion Rocks MIM runway show was held back in April.

looks-3Basically, the event highlighted the 10 designers that will be featured at Phoenix Fashion Week this October. Each designer had a model walk the runway in a styled look. The three looks at the very top were my fave.

looks-2Before the looks came out there was a mixer where we could mingle with the other guests and get our pictures taken. It would have been nice to have name tags that listed what each person at the mixer did because I always wonder who these people are--bloggers, designers, stylists, boutique owners, buyers, what? I never know.

    Thats so awesome ! I love going to fashion shows speaking of recent shows I just had my first show I dont know if you read about it on my blog or not. but you guys look so pretty I love your belt and necklace and the black and green dress from the show is gorgeous :D
