Today's post is all about the nails. Saturday I had plans to go see a movie and then meet up with some friends for dinner and drinks in the city. But I had spent a lot of my Saturday morning lounging around and doing absolutely nothing except letting time go by.
So when it was time to get ready I realized that my nails looked like garbage, but I didn't really have time to do the whole process. Luckily, I remembered that I had these awesome Sally Hansen Salon Effects Love Letter nail polish strips (what a mouthful).If you've used nail strips before, then you know how easy they are to apply, and it takes only a few minutes. When I first put these on I wasn't sure I would like them, but after I got dressed it all started to come together.~~~
Almost forgot to talk about Sunday.
Sunday I went to this "day spa," and I put it in quotes because that's how I would describe it to you if we were talking face to face. You pay for a room that includes a shower, a sauna and a hot tub. It was the weirdest thing. I went because I really needed a sauna and a relaxing hot tub, but I couldn't help feeling like a sketchy sleeze-slut going in there. I think I might have been in a DL brothel. But the sauna was fantastic so I can't complain.
~~~
What do you think of these nail strips?
Have you tried Love Letter before or any other salon effects by Sally Hansen?
♥
Those are wonderful..never used nail strips before, but this is convincing me too as with children, I don't often have time to paint my nails and then it just gets ruined playing, will have to go and look for some..these look gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteI have these strips as well and have used them before as accents. The full mani with them looks super cute on you! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering how well these strips work. They look super cute! Maybe I should give them a shot.
ReplyDeleteYour nail art looks great! I've always wanted to try funky designs with color pens but I'm afraid that I'll just mess them up. I stick to simple solid colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your "day spa" experience was nice, you got out of the house and spent some time on you, so that's all that really matters.
