Lookbook: The Queen Scallop

What do we have here? It's another outfit post. I felt like taking more lookbook photos this month, I guess, so why not share them you! This is what I wore to a reservoir birthday party a couple weekends ago. I had the blue heels on but did switch them out for my TOMS because I didn't want to have a misstep and fall in the lake. The last time I featured these blue zipper heels on the Muse was back in Cobalt & Coral about a year ago.

I think I was the most dressed up person, but I'm getting used to that now. I just call it reservoir chic. The funny thing about these scallop shorts is that when I first got them, I really didn't like the fit, but now I think they fit just fine. Also digging the cut-out detail on the linen-type top. And, of course, I had to bring out the large bag to store all the picnic delicacies (and spare shoes).

I loved it so much that I bought another in gold. People would see the ring at the reservoir and ask me, "So who is the muse?" in which I conveniently gave a mouthful about my blog. Blog jewelry = pretty unique advertising.
