This infinity hood scarf came in quite handy against the winds and was a big hit. Someone even said I looked like a Jedi knight. If you know me, then you know that's pretty much exactly what I was going for.
And here's a thought for you, muses: Have you ever been pulled between forcing yourself to be less antisocial and just saying "I'm an adult and I don't have to do things that I don't want to do." Or is doing the things you don't want to do what makes you an adult?

Thanks for the great feedback on my last post. More posts like that to come in 2014.

I will rather b antisocial sometimes than do what I don't like.
ReplyDeleteI love your look and the scarf!
You look super doll! I love the scarf. I rather be anti-social than do what I don't like to do, haha. And if I really don't want to do it, I won't budge. Otherwise, I would just be faking the whole time and that's not so good either. Being antisocial has its perks sometimes :) Have a great week xx
ReplyDeleteGreat basics look :) nice coat too!

I love these Chinese Laundry heels Cheryl and that you call them 'Fancy Pants' hehe. I can see why you're living in them and I bet Tahoe was so fun. I like the infinity scarf too - I need one of those. :)

ReplyDeleteLoving this look and those shoes are amazing as is the camel coat! Super cute and chic!
ReplyDeleteThat infinity hood scarf is so cute, and I love that someone said you looked like a Jedi Knight! I'm sure that made your day ;)
ReplyDeleteI love infinity scarves! =)
ReplyDeleteAlso, in regards to your last thought/question...I'm not sure what place I stand on. I have always thought of myself as a bit anti-social...I consider myself an introvert so social situations aren't "my thing." I don't strike casual conversations well and I'm most often feeling awkward. haha. But, I also feel like I need to break that comfort level and being an adult means trying more (in my opinion). So...I'm not sure I guess. haha. I would like to think that I can break this mold of mine one day and feel totally "out there" but, we'll see! I'm legally an adult and I still don't feel that way. haha

That's a great scarf, Cheryl:) And you know, I think being an adult is a mix of both. As a very introverted person, I find myself constantly having to be social, and it's no fun! But it does involve challenging myself, and that's how we grow, right?
ReplyDeleteI like your camel coat! :-) Most people think I'm antisocial but I'm just quiet. Being social is lot of work! :-)

Yes, I was just thinking of a jedi knight too! It is a great look and of course perfect for bad hair days.
ReplyDeleteI was just talking to a friend about being more social and hanging out with certain crowds. I go with your latter thought - you're an adult and should do what you want and don't have to hang out with the cool kids all the time!

Wow, those sandals are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteLove the sandals really cute! This is a perfect winter coat you look so well put together and comfy.
ReplyDeleteIm an introvert and I dont handle social settings or networking very well so I'll have to say I'd rather be antisocial, Im very independent minded and dont mind being the odd one out in a group setting!
That being said it does make it hard for me to network and networking is very huge if you want to progress in a social setting so...tricky tricky!
