Lookbook: Beauty + the Beach

The past week the hubs and I took a quick trip to Florida and celebrated our wedding anniversary (a few days early), and both of our mothers' birthdays as well. So these pictures were taken back home in sunny south Florida.

How can you not love this skirt? It's petal pencil skirt heaven. When I first saw this open crochet Selene skirt from Nasty Gal I knew I had to have it. It's perfect for a spring brunch or dinner with its floral lace and mint color tone.

I wore this to a dinner at Ft. Lauderdale beach. I used to spend so much time in that part of town when I was younger so it was nostalgic being there again, if only for a brief venture. We also went to a Miami Heat game (double overtime) and got chauffeured around in a limo. 60-year-olds have all the fun!
