Stole-N Goods

Happy MLK Day! Usually, Monday is on everyone's shit list...unless it's a three-day weekend, am I right? This past weekend, I spent a little time in San Francisco -- the Soma neighborhood -- for a friend's housewarming party and also went up to the Peninsula for dinner and a movie. It's always nice doing these fun things outside of the house, but since it was a cold and wet weekend, I also made time for a little Netflix and chill. Finished my book and started on Lost. I know, I'm so late.

Funny story: I went to Target to pick up some cereal. On my way toward the grocery section, I pass by the hats and accessories. To my surprise, I see a ton of faux fur snoods, so of course I had to stop and take a peek. I find this one in a beautiful deep burgundy and decide that I totally need it in my life. But, I was in search of a stole, not a snood, so when I went home I cut the ends and turned it into the masterpiece you see here. Needless to say, I did also end up getting the cereal -- and a coffee mug, and some snacks and a coffee at the Starbucks located inside Target. I've NEVER gone to Target and only gotten just one thing, and I probably never will.

So I'm a total fluff ball today in the faux fur stole and this oversize and comfy Chicwish turtleneck sweater. If only you guys could feel it -- it's the softest material ever.
