Apologies for all the photos in this post. I just really liked the way these turned out. Back in middle school when I was like 12, I wore overalls at least twice a week. I'm not kidding you. I practically lived in long overalls, short overalls, denim overalls, fabric overalls -- you name it. I was a bit of a tomboy, so overalls were a go-to. Now that they're back in fashion, I thought it was about time that I brought back my 12-year-old tomboy self. But I hadn't found a pair that really caught my eye until I saw these Madewell overalls a few weeks ago.
My word -- they fit like a damn charm. I'm short, so the cropped detail is like a dream. It actually makes them perfect for heels or flats. I was headed to see the movie Midnight Special (so good) right after so no need for heels at a theater. I'm not that girl. And the off the shoulder Free People top was just the best, especially with the off-the-shoulder trend being so big this spring.
But there is a little something about this look that's a bit home on the range, right? Right?
If you like the double layer pendant necklace, then you have to sign up for Rocksbox! It's one of the newest pieces from the Elise M collection and the druzy texture is the coolest.

I was quite a tomboy growing up, so I always loved pant outfits. This is so cute! Overalls look weird on me, but you are rocking them here!

Not everyone can rock denim overalls Cheryl but you do and you styled them so cute. I love these overalls with the fun button-front style. I am in love with your necklaces and flats though - too cute!
