Ruffle & Flow

Happy first outfit of March! I took these photos during a brief break in the rain before my birthday and before I went on my travels. I just had to make sure I got a post in featuring my birthday gifts. Remember how I mentioned in my February Loving post that I wanted to get a couple staple pieces? Well I went ahead and splurged on these Moschino heels and this M2Malletier bag. Technically, the hubs bought them for me, but it's all the same. Plus, the bag was on major sale!

My favorite thing about this soft jersey top (also comes in black) is the stand-up collar and how great that looks with the SUGARFIX by Baublebar choker necklace. And I love that the ruffle pants are from the H&M Conscious collection with their high waist and tapered legs (they also come in gray). The gold accents in the choker necklace also complement the gold-tone top handle on the shoulder bag and the golden buckles on the mid-heel sandals.

I went down to Florida to visit family and to attend a friend's wedding. I also took a quick trip to Austin before venturing out to Havana, Cuba. Did you catch my post all about Havana last week? I wasn't there for very long, but it was nice getting to visit and learn so much about Cuba now that we're able to do so and since I lived so close to it for so long.
