Floral in Fiji

I'm back! Spent the last couple of weeks in Australia and Fiji enjoying the vacation life, but I had to find some time to get in a quick photo shoot -- my island vacation shoots tend to always include photos with a boat. We first explored the different parts of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns and Brisbane) with our friends. Then the hubs and I did a few days in Fiji at a place called Toberua Island Resort.

So I actually first saw this jumpsuit when blogger babe Rach wore it a few months back. Rach wears prints and dresses like a boss, so I really loved when I saw this on her. Before I left the country, I bought a couple items that I thought I would need for the trip, and I found myself on the Boohoo website. And while perusing the site, I came upon this same jumpsuit. I couldn't help myself so I went ahead and bought it! As I'm writing this post it's on sale for $18 (I'm wearing a US size 4). I really couldn't resist getting a culotte jumpsuit with this uber pretty floral design. So thanks so much for the inspiration, Rach!

I paired the jumpsuit with my Target denim block heels. What's funny is that I had absolutely no purpose for these heels on the entire trip, except for these photos. I spent my time walking around the cities and at the beaches, so I was typically wearing comfy shoes and sandals. It's kind of ridiculous when you think about it -- packing one pair of heels that you use only one time in a span of two weeks, lol. But I knew these heels would really add to this culotte jumpsuit look, and at least the block heel adds some functionality.
