In the last few years, I've traveled a lot. Travel is one of my favorite things to do, and I enjoy going to places both near and far. When I travel, I like to be comfortable, casual or chic. If I have to sit on a plane for more than four hours, then I tend to wear clothing that's all about comfort. And this two-piece sweatshirt and joggers set is a great example of how I like to travel in comfortable style. Also, it's giving me major '90s vibes, am I right? I feel like I could be riding the 6 train in the Bronx with J-Lo in this look.
Anyway, if I'm on a flight that's long enough for me to sleep, then I might as well sleep in something that's super comfortable. Knit joggers with an elasticized waist and pockets just make travel a lot easier. And I opt for sneakers like these cute pink walking shoes with built-in footbeds to keep things comfy from head to toe.
I must add that a fanny pack/belt bag/whatever you want to call it, would also be a good item for comfortable travel. It's a good size for storing the small things that you want to reach for like chapstick, a phone charger, etc. And you get to keep your hands free! I should also note that the hubs was not a fan of this look, lol. He hated the ruffles. Do you like to travel in comfortable style or do you tend to dress up? What do you have to have with you when you travel?

This is totally so "JLo Jenny from the block", Cheryl! Love it:) And the ruffles add a little sumthin sumthin, you know?:D And can I just say I wish I can travel as much as you! Fiji....sigh....
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely an old school look like something from the early 2000's with the all pink matching sweats. I actually really love that purse belt though! I've always wanted to try something like that - it's a much higher step up from a fanny pack.
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect look for traveling. I also love the idea of the fanny pack. It's smart and they have really come out with some chic ones now. Great look.
ReplyDeleteThis 2 piece set is adorable! I love it ;) my travel look depends on how long the flight is. Sometimes I’ll go chic or there times completely comfortable.

How do you manage to make a fanny pack look so cute? I think I'd just look like a 90's Disney soccer mom if I wore one haha! Love the cute ruffly set as well. Looks so comfy, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteI want a fanny pack! Love your style!

So I think the term 'belt bag' sounds wayyy cuter than a fanny pack! And I've been wanting one for a while because you're right...they're so perfect for travel!

I love that sweat suit! The ruffles are so fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute comfy set to travel in. I like to travel comfortably hands down. No point in getting dressed up if all I am doing is sitting and sleeping! Lol 😂 I also take a mini bag with me to have all my small necessities close by.

That is one chic travel look! Fanny packs get a bad rap but they are really so convenient for travel!
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can pull this off. You look great wearing it!
ReplyDeleteLoving this Fanny pack look. The purple looks amazing
ReplyDeleteI'm all about being comfy when traveling too! Loving those pretty pink shoes.

That's a cute fanny pack you are wearing. I've never been a fan but may want to consider doing so for my future travels. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with this outfit! Such a cute color :)

I would wear this exact look in a heart beat. I have not get got into the fanny pack yet though, except when I go running. 😄
ReplyDeleteAlso, except Scotland I have not been to any of those countries. I need to start planning some leisure travel for 2018.
I think the fanny pack gets a lot of hate, but they are really making some cute ones! I jumped on board a couple summers ago. I admit I don't wear it a ton, as it's small even by small bag standards, but it is so nice to be hands free!

Everything about this look is so practical and chic! I don't know why fanny packs aren't more of a "thing" like they used to be! I feel like there are so many amazing styles lately that don't look like the fanny packs our parents used to wear!
ReplyDeleteLoving this outfit, so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still so shocked that fanny packs are back! If you would've asked me 5 years ago I probably would've laughed haha. But I love how they can look so chic now! Loved this post girlie.

I have not seen a fanny pack in so long! ha, so I definitely wouldn't know how to wear it (in a cute way!) if I hadn't read this! Also, can we talk about this amazing sweatsuit? I love the ruffles on the sleeve!
ReplyDeleteYou look super cool and you are really rocking this look.these look ideal and a great place for a hand bag x
ReplyDeleteI have to say this looks really good Cheryl. I am not a fan of fanny packs as mine would have to be HUGE for it to actually work for me ! therefore it would lose the fashion chic look.
ReplyDeleteI think my Dad ruined fanny packs for me for life. I can get behind a cute red Gucci one though! You carry them off so stylishly!
ReplyDeleteThe ruffles are a fun take on a casual look. I gotta admit - this fanny pack is actually pretty cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch a killer look!! Love this entire ensemble!!
