Unique Glamping: I've never been much of a camper, but I've always liked the idea of glamping. I love being out in nature (lakeside walks, hikes, etc.), but I don't enjoy the whole staying in a sleeping bag and using the bathroom outside thing. So this summer I'm interested in unique glamping like yurts, geodesic domes and tree houses. I actually spent time in a beautiful tree house in a secluded bamboo forest in the heart of Atlanta just 20 minutes from my place this past weekend. Did I mention that it was also on an alpaca and llama farm? If you're looking to get outside this summer, but you're not that into traditional camping (or you just want to try something new), I'd definitely recommend you do something unique and different and go glamping in teepees, yurts, wagons, tree houses and more!
SoulCycle: Yes, there was a gift card lawsuit that was settled. I think that's actually a good thing because a lot of people ended up getting a few free classes, which is great because classes ain't cheap! As of today, I've done SoulCycle 6 times and I've never paid for a single class. My plan is to not get hooked on it so I never have to pay for it. But for now, I'm loving it. Yes, sometimes the "soul" in SoulCycle is a bit annoying to me (I have no emotions), but it really works you out, and the 45 minutes goes by super fast. Plus the music is typically perfect with class themes like Hip-Hop Humpday, Beyonce: Homecoming, Bruno Mars vs Cardi B, and Soul + Abs to name a few.
Arden's Garden: Outside of the blog, I also work part-time for a local juice company called Arden's Garden. The company began here in Atlanta, but their fruit and vegetable juices and all-natural vegan snacks can be found in stores like Kroger, Publix and Whole Foods in the southeast. So I've been enjoying their juices (no added anything - just all fruits and vegetables), their detox cleanses and their vegan foods like kale chips and no-tuna salads. If you'd like to try them out, they also ship all across the US. I'd recommend their Hotshot (pineapple juice, lemons, cranberries, ginger) and their Green Energy Machine (cucumbers, celery, apple juice, spinach, kale, ginger) for starters.
Net Mesh Tote Bags: Back in March, I shared this netted tote bag in an outfit post. I am absolutely loving it for summer and all other variations of this style. Mine has a zippered pouch inside to keep my items secure, but unfortunately, this specific bag is sold out. And you might also remember my Staud macrame bucket bag, but that one is a little pricey. Luckily, I've found a few others that I love and are more affordable (and available). If you're interested in adding a summer-friendly bag to your collection, then get one of the net mesh totes that I've shared in this post.

It was heavenly. Unfortunately, this juice company does not ship outside of the US, but if you're ever on this side of the pond, let me know.
DeleteI'm not into camping either so I am all for clamping. There's so many amazing and unique ones out there. That is awesome that you don't have to pay for soul cycle yet!

well now I'm fresh out of free SC classes so now I'd have to pay for them. But I still enjoyed it!
DeleteAmazingly awesome I have always wanted to try clamping that's for sure, it looks like quite the experience and I used to enjoy actual camping as a child.

Yea and not that into bags these days, but I'm still liking these mesh ones.
DeleteI NEED that treehouse in my life!! Like omg literal DREAMS! Also, I would love to try SoulCycle! I've always heard such good things about their classes!
ReplyDeleteI would recommend both a tree house and a SoulCycle class at least once.
DeleteThat glamping experience looks so awesome! I'm like you - not the biggest fan of true camping but appreciate the outdoors and being in nature!

Yes that's the best compromise for me -- nature without the camping, lol

ReplyDeleteJadieegosh
Totally go there if you're ever in the area.

The great thing is that it's only 5 minutes from this cute area of Atlanta called EAV, but when you're at the tree house it feels super secluded.
DeleteYou couldn't pay me to go camping but glamping in a tree house in a secluded bamboo forest on an alpaca and llama farm sounds like a super cool experience!
ReplyDeleteSAME and SAME!
DeleteMy hubby loves camping but I don't so glamping sounds like a great compromise, Cheryl:D And the detox juices sound really great. I love the whole idea of cleansing the body once in awhile especially since I eat not-so-good somedays.
ReplyDeletePS Would also love to do Soul Cycle someday. I always hear about it, but never got the chance to do it. I do do the bike at home everyday.
Those all natural juices help me get my veggies in, because honestly, I don't like eating them, lol.
DeleteUmmmm holy crap - please sign me up to go glamping in a secluded bamboo forest that also has alpacas. Like, yes please! I haven't heard about that juice brand, but now that you've mentioned it, I'll be on the lookout. Cool to know that you work for them too (makes me want to support them more). So fun to see what you've been into this summer!
ReplyDeleteBeing a vegetarian, it's been great working for them because everything they make is natural, vegan and delicious!
DeleteOh my gosh this glamping trip looks like so much fun! I'd love to do that with my husband this fall.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh how cool is this! What a fun experience! This is something I would absolutely love to do one day!
ReplyDeleteAfter living in the country parts of Jamaica all dem years. I have done my time in the woods. No more for me. . .
ReplyDeletehahaha, understandable
DeleteOMG!! I love this!! I went glamping last year and it was a lot of fun. I was not used to being without electricity, the whole experience was worth the while.
ReplyDeleteThat treehouse looks absolutely incredible!! I am so adding that to my travel bucket list!
ReplyDeleteYes, I remember SoulCycle classes can be addicting. I finally took some Peloton classes earlier this year when I was travelling for work and loved it. Allergy season doesn't allow me to go camping anymore, I have only been glamping a few times and likes it but I prefer being enveloped by AC in summer, lol.
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm done with SoulCycle, I wouldn't mind getting a Peloton. Also, this tree house has AC :) (just no internet or tv).
DeleteI have been seeing those types of bag everywhere recently and I love them! Also...def going to need to sign up for that tree house glamping!
ReplyDeleteI would've never have guessed this tree house getaway is just outside Atlanta! How cool! And checking out these bags pronto- such a great summer purse idea!
