Lookbook: Color Me Spring

I apologize in advance for this post being photo heavy, but I couldn't help myself. It's actually starting to look like spring in these parts. People here in California were losing their minds about the thunderstorms that occurred the other day. But I'm from Florida, so thunderbolts and lightning are pretty passe. But April showers brought...April cherry blossoms!
I used a lot of different photo effects in this post because Picasa has new features that I find to be pretty awesome.

This is what I wore to go to a BBQ at a friend's house. I ate some lentil appetizer and drank Moscato. I've definitely become a fan of white wines.

I used the belt from the top and tied it around my neck for more of a scarf-tie look. This top has small studs on it (hope you can see) that add to the sparkle factor.
Accessories for the day: "I Read Banned Books" bracelet from Fab.com, talon cuff and ring from eBay, Michael Kors sunnies.

♥H&M blazer, Asos top, Foreign Exchange shorts, Guess wedges♥

Oooh, you look marvelous! I love the colors and how you got inventive with the scarf belt - definitely have to try that sometime (I never like scarves as belts, I don't feel like the accent works for me). And your bracelets are amazing!!

Oh and, duh, the scenery is gorgeous - I haven't seen any flowers like that out here yet, sadly.
