Also, this past Saturday I went to the Art with Style event hosted by Lotus Premium Denim. It was an art and denim charity event that featured body painted portraits and clothing donations were given to Career Closet. I actually parted ways with one of my Jean Paul Gaultier tops for this...now that's a charitable donation!

At the event I got a chance to finally meet Dale of Savvy Spice. She is a fashion blogger in San Fran and a stylist, who actually did some body paint modeling for Lotus Premium Denim.

It's always great getting to meet bloggers you follow online. Dale was no exception. She was really easy to talk to and her whole family was a pleasure. Plus, she was wearing the Zara sandals I'm currently coveting!

The Dainty Dolls House July 25, 2012 at 12:44 AM: What a fantastic event, that's very cool of you to do :)) You look great!! To answer your questions: Before bed I wash my face & brush my teeth. Not sure what would make you call me crazy, loads really. I despise cats, I only have one pair of jeans, I too don't wear lipstick much as I think it makes my lips look weird, I do wear lip gloss, but not the matte lipstick, I end up looking like I've been hit in the mouth. To keep my hair healthy, I moisturize well and try to use as little in products as possible, just the essential ones. And masks for my hair are always needed, the sun turns my hair into a crazy mess. And I believe in love, the kind that will tell the truth always and not put people on pedestals but just accept others as they are.

The pic with you and the cakepop is so cute, it goes with your outfit. It was so fun meeting you too and thanks for including me in this post, we'll definitely have to meet up more often since we're so close. Emmy July 25, 2012 at 11:37 AM: Saw that pic on Dale's blog...you two are too fab:) And yes yes yes on the fries with mayo. If it wasn't so fattening, I'd be eating that everyday! As for bedtime routine, I use Proactiv too, but the Repairing Lotion one.

LOL about lipstick, Im the same way. I just don't like how it looks on me, no matter what color it is. Actually the only makeup I wear is eye liner! So call me crazy!

Hmm..Every night before bed I watch TV or read a book...its a must!

I probably don't keep my hair healthy. I put moose in it and then blow dry it, but not every day. If I don't blow dry it I just pull it up in a bun.

I like that you are straight forward, there is no reason to pretend about anything or anyone you don't like. Why sit there and deal with it if you don't have to.

I believe in being honest with your spouse. If you can't be honest with them then it feels like you aren't being honest with yourself. You are sharing your life with this person, so would you keep something from them. Secrets always end up ugly in the end when you aren't being honest.

I never used hamadi hair mask so I have to try that out for sure. Although I don't use chemicals on my hair, I do occasionally use heat so I love hearing about great natural products to protect it. nice post chica!

Orange is a great color for you! I have no before bed routine except to take off my makeup, wash my face, and hopefully floss and brush my teeth. Moisturizer too.
