Happy Monday! July is almost over...can you believe it? Although I more than loved my lookbook from last week in San Fran, I am so happy that I am taking outfit photos back in the south bay again. The weather is so much nicer here (aka: it's like spring in summertime...summertime, and the livin's easy), which is why I'm not freezing in this sleeveless Sugarlips Safari Park dress.
As you can see, I tried this layered dress with and without a wide belt to decide which look I preferred. Feel free to share your opinion. Either way, I love how the colors in the dress pop against the background of greens and blues.
Recently, I had a very eye-opening conversation. You know when you think you notice something, but you don't say anything about it...and then some time later you talk to others and realize they've noticed the same things as well? It's such a relief when you find out that great minds think alike. It turns awkward situations into hilarious moments. Do you know what I mean?Wearing

Just a big shout-out to my favorite photographer in the whole world, my husband Ari. I'm always like, "You look like you want to take some blog photos!" And he's always like, "Do I?" And then I'm like, "Let's stop what we're doing, go outside and take some photos of my face, clothes, accessories and shoes." And he's like, "OK." Then I say, "Yatta!" (which loosely translates to I did it in Japanese). And that results in pretty much all of my outfit photos on the Muse.
FYI: Use the promo code CH22ERG to get 10% off at eShakti - valid until July 31, 2012!

Maybe your husband and my husband need to have a conversation. My husband is on most days, so tired of being a Producer for a TV Channel's promo team, that he just does not like the camera!
ReplyDeleteLove your arm candy, Cheryl!
This dress is great :) I love this ring too :)
ReplyDeleteGah! The Disc Crown Headband is phenom - it makes me think of Nicole Richie and House of Harlow 1960. You look amazing, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Yes, with thick polish you can apply less coats. If it's thick, and not streaky, you can usually get away with just one! :)
Love your outfit and arm candy!! Also, I love your blog's layout! Super awesome!
