Lookbook: The Painted Chambray

Dude, it's been such a busy week. I just keep asking myself, "can I stop doing stuff now?" but it seems to never end. Basically, my plate is really full, and I keep putting more things on my plate, and then I wake up the next day, see the plate on the counter and wonder why it's not yet empty! I think I need some Kahlua and a Game of Thrones marathon.

Anyway, I wore this to run some errands, which meant stopping by Sephora for some quick pickups for an upcoming post. What I love about this chambray top is that it's atypical because of the soft draping and paint wash pattern. So it stands out in a long line of denim shirts.

Love your take on double denim, and the uniqueness of your chic printed shirt, it has such a cool marbled effect. And the bag - stunning statement piece! Happy Weekend Sweetheart!

Cheryl, you are the cutest. :) How about some kahlua during a Game of Thrones marathon? I think that's the way to go. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of chambray shirts and just bought two (one light, one dark) to replace my favorite one that had a hole in it. Now I'm thinking I might need a third with some sort of pattern.

Lovely photos! I too love chambray and think that it has a softer hand than coarse denim. Love your shirt and the orange is a great colour addition! Happy weekend! :-) /Madison

I wish my plate was full again! This has been the most boring week (I've been sick and lounging around literally all day). Hopefully next week I'll be back to my normal routine.

Anyhow, you look so cute! I love your top, bag and shoes. Hope you have a great weekend!

Cheryl, I'm seriously seriously loving this entire look, from the shirt to the pumps and bag - just gorgeous. Sad to say that Singers is too hot for an outfit like that though, such a bummer!
