Lay Over

Last week, I gave you guys a whole story about my delivery issue. I wish I had something as entertaining to share with you all this week, but alas, that's not the case. It was a very low key week (and weekend). And funny enough, this overlay maxi romper isn't even the clothing item that I was waiting for -- this I already had in my closet. Same can be said for the cage clutch, which I got from ASOS a few months back. Sometimes I own things that I've assumed I've worn on the blog already, when turns out, I haven't worn them at all. This is why it pays to shop your closet, right?

Fun things about this overlay maxi romper:
  • You get to wear shorts
  • The skirt part will flow in the wind
  • It's like a dress, but not
  • A 75-year-old man in a motorized scooter might call you stunning
Annoying things about this overlay maxi romper:
  • Too much cleavage, too little coverage
  • The advantage of shorts without the advantage of pockets
  • High-heels only! Because, let's face it, you're barely 5'3"

Well, even though I would not be too keen on little coverage or the fact that it lacks pocket YOU ROCK this look. So all of these small sacrifices were well worth it.

I love a good maxi rompers- but yes, heels are so key! Gotta lengthen those legs out! I wore mine in Greece, where the steps make it impossible to do wedges/heels, but when I wear this back home I'll be pairing it with something that has some height!
