How to Wrap a Cape Coat Like a Jedi Master

Want to know the first thing that caught my eye about this coat? The color.
And the second thing? The cape.
The third? The Jedi inspiration.

I'm sure that's not what they were going for when they created this wrap cape coat, but I totally feel like a Jedi master when I wear this piece. The force is strong with this one. Do you own any wrap cape coats? And yes, these shorts are actually from H&M, but please keep in mind that I bought them probably six months ago -- way before the whole coolest monkey in the jungle fiasco. The shorts that I've linked below are from other retailers.

This past weekend I also attended the hubs' work holiday party. I know that sounds weird, right? A holiday party at the beginning of February? I have no idea why they pushed it back so late, but hey, a party is a party. It was a 1920s theme, and I really wasn't sure what I was going to wear. Then I remembered that I actually owned the perfect flappers style dress, and that I've had it since 2016! I have only worn it once before to a magazine launch party. If you want to see how it looked paired with the hub's outfit -- I'm talking ombre, tassels and newsboy caps here -- then check out the Looks Highlight on my Instastories.

What I wore to the office holiday party: | 2013 // 2016 |
On the Muse: | Shein wrap cape coat | Faux leather shorts (designer version | discounted version) | Topshop Jupiter ghillie kitten heels (similar) |

  4. A late holiday party sounds like it could be pretty fun - and I love a good party theme. I hope you had a great time! And, side note, that H&M thing was such a sickening mess, right (I was in disbelief over that one)?
