Saturday was a busy day of errand running, food making and house guesting. And although I did go to the dog park again, I did the smart thing and put on this outfit afterward. I went for the blue on blue seeing that it is my favorite color, and these pants are a great alternative to jeans. The last time I took photos in this location it was back in the Color Me Spring lookbook post in April and cherry blossoms were in bloom. Now, the leaves have changed and it's starting to feel like fall.
I wore this when I went grocery shopping, and getting groceries isn't really my thing. The hubs is the cook in the family and he's the type of person who spends way too much time in the store, especially in the cold spots like produce and dairy. I'm the type of person who has a "get in and get out" grocery shopping mentality.♥ Lucky Brand sunnies ♥ Nasty Gal sweet studs blouse ♥ H&M trousers ♥ Juicy Couture bag ♥ Crystal watch c/o Caravelle by Bulova ♥ Spike bracelet c/o t+j designs ♥ Jewelmint fringe fest cuff ♥ Shoedazzle clodagh flats ♥Did you guys have a busy, productive weekend (like I did on Saturday), or did you just chill and watch football and Dexter (like I did on Sunday)? What do you think of this look?
♥

You look relaxed. Personally I take my sweet time doing grocery and always end up picking stuff I didn't have on my list. Not healthy (literally and metaphorically :P)

lovely look! I love your blue pants!
ReplyDeleteI'm the "cook" in my relationship with the hubs. He has cooked for me several times, but timing wise, it just works out for me to do it. Luckily, we go grocery shopping more often than not so we can agree on foods we both like. I'm more experimental than he is. His thought is, "I know I will like this so why change it?" haha...

I used to love grocery shopping. But now...I have the same mentality: get in, get out! I just want to do the fun part: cook!

I'm a Dexter fan too! Finally have Showtime and can watch :)
ReplyDeleteI totally dig this look. The blouse is once I've seen numerous versions of and haven't liked, but it looks really nice on you... nice enough where I'd even give it a shot myself, just based on this look, haha!
I'm not a huge fan of grocery shopping, though sometimes I do take my time. One thing I learned from a friend (via her mom actually) that's quite possibly the best thing ever? Make your list based on aisles at the store. Saves you time once you're in the store, since you're not running all over from end to end as you go down your list, because you forgot you needed onions back when you were getting apples.
Love this look Cheryl! Those cuffs and bracelets are soooo glam, just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHave a fab weekend!
I love your top...
ReplyDeleteand your accessories are so fab!
I want the spike bracelet.

ReplyDeleteLove the look, the blue on blue is so cute. I absolutely HATE being at the grocery store. I never ever want to go. I'm not a big cook so like I just get stressed in there not to mention cold lol.
