It feels like I've been waiting for it to be spring since the beginning of January. Don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy winter layering, but I'm so ready to be warm and to transition my winter wear to spring gear. Here are some good ways to add pieces to your closet with UltimateOutlet.com that will help you go from winter to spring for a bargain.
Still Suffering from the Winter Blues
If you're still experiencing cold, winter nights, then consider warming up with this cascading ponte knit open front blazer. Pair the blazer with wide leg jeans that can flatter many silhouettes this time of year. Top off your look with a lace-up bootie with a faux shearling foldover cuff.

Transitioning Between Winter & Spring
If you're an optimist and are ready to transform your winter wardrobe to spring attire, then try mixing in more colorful pieces to your dreary look. This sleeveless shift dress has a lovely chevron print that will wipe away your winter blues. And polka dots like this silk tie-neck blouse are pretty much a staple piece right now. Add in these gladiator sandals with a back zipper and you're on your way to spring.

Ready for a Spring Break
With spring break on the way, brighten up your look with a watercolor floral bikini bra top or a unique necklace print top. If you're ready to show more skin, then get your hands on a bandeau swimsuit top with a great splatter print. And because I've recently become a big fan of one-pieces, this crochet trim deep-v suit in java totally catches my eye.
Will these pieces help you transition your wardrobe from winter to spring?

♥ Day 9 ~ A Song That You Can Dance To: P.Y.T. by Michael Jackson ~ this is my jam and my favorite Michael Jackson song. As soon as I heard it, I was immediately entranced. It's the song that I will always request when going out dancing, and it played multiple times at my wedding.
♥ Day 10 ~ A Song That Makes You Fall Asleep: Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me by The Smiths ~ I chose this song not because I think it's boring, but because it has a 2-minute intro before Morrissey sings, and when he starts singing, it just makes me want to curl up in bed with the song on repeat. I was first introduced to this band more than a decade ago when I got "Viva Hate" as a gift and started listening to all related songs. If you're a fan, then you'll love this compilation by Jenny of I Know, Right.

I looooove that song. It's one of my favorites and it is so soothing and haunting. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mention!
I'm drooling over those wide leg jeans up top! So fab. It reminds me of 1997, when I wore my mom's old 1970s bell bottoms to school every day and kids used to make fun of me. Well, a couple years later, flare jeans came out as the big thing and now everyone is about vintage. Nice to know I was cool before my time. Haha!
Great tips for transiting!
ReplyDeleteCan't really wait for Spring and take away all the heavy coat and exchange them for dresses and shorts.

I like the idea of wardrobe transitioning, Im going to have to do that here for our start to autumn. The red and black zigzag dress is a stunner. Thanks for your visit, have a great start to March!

ReplyDeletebut I sure love to have the black cardigan/jacket the most.
I think I'm going to hold on to winter for as long as I can, because I know when spring comes, it'll be summer way too early.
