Makeup and Muses: Products of the Moment

A few beauty products that I've been enjoying lately are actually drugstore items that seem to do the trick. I'm not a heavy makeup kind of gal unless I'm going somewhere special. I'm a makeup minimalist who'll opt for a tinted moisturizer and some gloss then I'm out the door. Here are some of the makeup products I'm currently enjoying. And, by the way, the total cost of all five items is under $60!

Nars Pure Radiant tinted moisturizer in Seychelles - this medium dark moisturizer has golden olive undertones that is perfect for my skin tone, according to my Color IQ test. It's lightweight so it's perfect for the winter, and it evens out dark spots while providing SPF 30. Sephora | $42

NYX Collection Noir matte black liner - I always switch between eyeliner pencils and retractable ones, depending on my mood. But at this moment I'm loving these auto liners because they give a bold finish that's extremely easy to apply for smokey eye, cat eye and other looks. Ulta | $6

e.l.f. Studio Lip Exfoliator - I'm all about anything that soothes dry skin, like this exfoliator infused with Vitamin E that smells oh so delicious. Apply it, use a damp cotton pad to wipe away the scrub then finish with a balm or gloss. e.l.f. | $3

e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set - Another great e.l.f. product I love right now is this makeup setting spray with aloe, green tea and cucumber. Just spray a light mist about 12 inches from your face after applying makeup in the morning, or spray in the middle of the day for a touch up. e.l.f. | $3

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro lip balm in Pink Shock - been liking this for a while because of its pigmented pink color that complements my skin while also providing 8-hour protection. It has the benefits of both a lip balm and a lip color at the same time. Maybelline | $4

Have you tried any of these beauty products? What are your products of the moment?

P.S. ~ The winners of my giveaway are Elizabeth H. and Nadia J. Congrats!
