What I'm Loving in March 2015

Zoya Natural Satins - Yes, yes, yes to satin polishes! The satin is a hybrid between matte and glossy, so polish it on your nails without a top coat to keep the look smooth. These natural satins are the perfect colors to introduce spring this month. The shades are: Ana, Brittany, Leah, Rowan, Sage and Tove and cost $9 each.

Loafers - Have you seen the Chanel ankle strap cut-out loafers yet? They were in the Spring/Summer 2015 collection. I want them or a very similar version of them, stat. The Astrid by Alexander Wang was the closest bet, but those are sold out. For now, maybe I'll see if I can DIY some ankle straps onto my Shoe Cult cut-out loafers and make it work a la Tim Gunn.

'90s R&B - Yes, the 1990s are calling and they want their stonewash jeans and dodo braids back. But I've actually really been feeling the music of the '90s lately -- particularly, I Wanna Be Down by Brandy. Sigh, R&B music was the shit. Not sure about the crap that's on the radio these days. (Do I sound like an old fart? Well, get off my lawn!). Seriously, go to your Spotify right now and add this Brandy song -- then check back on the Muse next week for a '90s R&B Music Playlist.

Tulips - Judging by my blog posts and Instagram, it's pretty clear that tulips are a current obsession. Since it's tulip season, its become super easy to find bundles in all kinds of colors, and it's making me want to go back to The Netherlands for the tulip festival next month.

Empire - Keeping the music theme going, I've been tuning into Empire every Wednesday night since the show premiered. If you're a fan of good music (produced by Timbaland), Taraji P. Henson and great acting then start watching it now before the March 18 season finale. Terrence Howard might have been a little weird at the Oscars (OK!), but he rocks on Empire.

And click here to see what song was #1 when you were born. For me it was I Wanna Dance With Somebody  by Whitney Houston.

Asymmetrical Hemlines - I'm not the biggest wearer of dresses and skirts, but I'm a bit love struck for asymmetric hemlines right now. I know a lot of you loved this dress, so I'm thinking about adding more irregular hemline dresses or skirts to the collection this spring. You can find these skirts on Net-A-Porter.

  3. Empire is so much fun! Especially the Twitter convo lol too bad we're 3 hours apart otherwise we could live tweet it.

I'm dying to try the Zoya Satin polishes. I was a little hesitant since I didn't like the Julep ones :/

And I'm personally bias to tulips being one of the best flowers as a Dutch girl :)
