St. Patrick's Day Chic

This Friday is St. Patrick's Day, which I guess means you have to wear something with the Pantone color of the year in it: greenery. Since I don't really own much in that shade, I'm happy that I was able to add this Banana Republic beaded top to my wardrobe just in time. And what I really like about it is the subtlety of the green beads. The gemstones along the neckline provide just enough sparkle so that you don't need any added jewelry. And the cuffed sleeves make it more than just another plain top. And there are so many other great details in this outfit that I just have to share!

Let's start with these embroidered skinny jeans! I got them in my usual size but they didn't fit (I'm blaming that on New Look and their sizes being out of whack; not on all the traveling and carb eating I've been doing -- I don't want to talk about it, lol). So I re-ordered in another size because I had to get my hands on these jeans. How fun is the embroidery detail and the raw hem? Plus, being from the petite line, the denim fits right at my ankles, which is perfect for my frame. I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you're a petite girl (5'3" and under), then shop the petite collections whenever possible. We might not all be models, but we can all wear clothes that fit, am I right?

And yes, I'm getting as much wear as possible out of these Moschino heels and this Who What Wear ring bag. Oh, and did I tell you that these roses are more than two weeks old and still look this good? How, Sway?! And are you guys excited about the spring forward daylight savings time? We can finally take pictures at the end of the day again!

Last thing! Did you catch this photo of my Google Pixel XL on my Instagram? I love having the Pixel as my other phone because it takes such amazing photos. The picture quality is Insta-worthy and the storage space is out of this world. And did you see where I shared the live case for the Pixel too? It's so cool that you can go to the website and create a custom-made live case that comes with a fun slideshow wallpaper. I still use my other phone, but I love having the Google Pixel XL to get the shots that other phone can't. I'd also definitely recommend it over an iPhone.
