Happy Labor Day! Even though I want you muses to enjoy the last day of your long three-day weekend, I hope you have a few minutes for today's post! Just a little blouson sleeve action to spice up any look. This blouson sleeve top originally goes for $40 but is currently on sale for $16! It's statement sleeve heaven. I initially wanted to pair this top with jeans -- because duh -- but there was a huge heat wave in California this weekend. I mean, huge -- like 110 degrees. So I opted for end-of-summer shorts to beat the heat. And yes, I love the blous-on detail, but the hot hot heat really made me want to take the blous-off!
Also, it's going to be an interesting week ahead. I have beauty appointments, shoots and then I'm traveling (once again). I'm heading to New York Fashion Week and the US Open. The funny thing is, when I started this blog almost a decade ago, I really wanted to one day go to NYFW. But back then, I didn't know how to make that happen. Now, I've been invited to a bevy of shows, and although I'm looking forward to attending NYFW for the first time, it's just not the same. I was way more into the idea of fashion week back when I couldn't get an invite. Is that weird?
So I'll be at a few shows and events at the end of the week and into next week. I'm also making time to see a couple US Open matches because tennis is my jam. If you plan on being in New York (for fashion week or any other reason) in the next few days, then let me know so we can meet up!

I feel the same exact way about NYFW. Ask me a few years ago and that would have been a dream come true. Have fun and I can't wait to follow along on Insta or your stories!

Hope you have a fun fashion week! I've still never been invited to a show, which is a shame since I'm so close to NYC.
