Why You Should Ring in Spring with a Plaid & Floral Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits, playsuits and rompers are always fun for me. I tend to bring them out in the spring, and I love how one item is an entire look (much like a dress, but more unique). Even though the first day of spring is about a month away, I'm trying to will it to arrive sooner with this jumpsuit look, complete with plaid and floral designs. If you're looking to add a touch of spring to your wardrobe as well, then try wearing a jumpsuit this weekend -- weather permitting.

I don't typically wear strapless, cutout front bodice tops, but I really loved the look of this jumpsuit and remembered that I was recently sent a strapless bra that would pair perfectly with this exact look. And the slanted front pockets are always a good idea, just like these mules that you might remember from my Mad for Plaid outfit in January.

My birthday is this Friday. I don't really have any set plans at the moment. But if I go out to dinner then I'll most likely wear this jumpsuit. One thing that I do know for sure for my birthday is that I'm giving back, and I'm hoping that you guys will assist! Last week I created a fundraiser for States United to Prevent Gun Violence. It's all about common sense gun policies such as: background checks for gun purchases, keeping guns out of public places, standing against military style weapons, etc. After the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida on Valentine's Day (I grew up really close to Parkland), and learning that there have been 18 school shootings in the U.S. in 2018 already, I just felt a need and desire to give to this cause.
