A Turtleneck Twist for the Off Shoulder Button Down Trend

This weekend I was able to take time out of my busy Suits-watching schedule (just started season 7 so I'll soon have to deal with the fact that season 8 doesn't start until the summer) to get a few errands done and take a couple Instagram photos. Have you guys ever gotten attached to a show? I can honestly tell you that after watching six seasons of Suits in the span of seven days, I'm way too attached to these fictional characters. This happened to me once before when I binge-watched Sons of Anarchy a few years back. And the funny thing is, Suits isn't even an amazing show (it's pretty good, though), but I was in the checkout line at Target yesterday and came this close to buying a $14 Town & Country magazine all about Meghan Markle. Sad, really. Although I guess the point is that I didn't buy it.

I also had fun in the nice weather riding a scooter. Have you seen the new e-scooter revolution that's been taking over? It's getting pretty big here in the Bay Area, so if you haven't seen them in your town yet, you will soon. You can see some video of me scooting around town on my Instastory. It takes some getting used to, but fortunately, I didn't fall.

For today's outfit, I went with this twist on the off shoulder button down shirt look. For one, this shirt has no buttons. And for two, it comes with an attached zip-front high neck -- almost turtleneck style. If my hair weren't so big and black, you could probably see it a bit better. I also finally brought out this See By Chloe belt bag that I bought back in March for my trip to Palm Springs. I keep thinking that I've shared things on the blog with you guys, but in actuality, I've only shared them IRL (that's a weird sentence when you think about it). Another IRL outfit coming next week!

  4. Wow, I know the seasons are short but seven seasons in seven days is impressive! If I really like a show I try not to binge it. I mean, I'm not spacing it out to one episode a week, but usually not more than two a day, haha.

  5. I totally get attached with characters. I constantly have to remind myself that they're fictional haha. I do love that top! I'm always about OTS or in this case, exposed shoulders.

  15. I still miss Sons Of Anarchy. I binge watched Billions last week and Tara (from SOA) is one of the main characters in it ... and it made me miss that show more. You should watch Billions btw.

I have been watching Suits for the past 5 years and last two seasons have been a drag. I am only watching it now because it is gonna end and I wanna know what happens.

oh ... and I LOVE that top. I want it! :D
