This was from a busy Saturday a couple weeks ago. I went to a baby shower and decided to dress up a bit, of course. The day before, I was wearing my ruffle lapel vest and a random lady complimented me. Then on this day, I received compliments about this look from three different people. Too bad I don't always remember to give them my card. Are you good about sharing your blog card?
What attracted me so much to this top (which was sold as a dress, but is clearly way too short for that) was the cool geometric design on the back because it's so different from the solid orange on the front.

After the baby shower we went up to Oakland for dinner and drinks with some friends at Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill. The restaurant is on Lake Merritt so there were so many great views and even gondola rides! But as you can see, I am wearing shorts and the weather was too cold for a gondola ride in the evening.

It's gorgeous! Not sure who could wear this as a dress, my backside would not be covered, haha. But, like this it's very pretty...you look super!! Happy Monday x
