Remember last year and the year before when Lauren Conrad was on TV all the time with The Hills and before that with Laguna Beach? (Team Lauren, all the way). And then MTV started filming for her new reality show that would be based around her new clothing line.
Well, although her new line, Paper Crown, has debuted, it seems like her reality show won't. MTV apparently was not fond of the show's direction--maybe because it didn't include a lot of backstabbing, bickering and fake boobs.
This is probably a blessing in disguise for LC as her show--which MTV called "too high brow" can now be marketed to Bravo or something. All I know is I would love to watch the making of this line because I actually really like it--I'd wear it all. I wish she were selling the collection at Kohl's, but much like the Rachel Zoe line, it's probably not in that price range. The collection comes out this fall.
What do you think?

Wow! I actually like this collection, which is strange because I haven't been into any of LC's previous designs. This collection, however, is great - and I love the name!! :)

I love it!! I agree if it were affordable I would wear it all! And really, I think she is so beyond Mtv at this point. All of their shows have a hint of skeeze and LC is a little too classy for that :)

Love the new format! YEs i love paper crown...ya i guess her show did not have enough drama to air LOL...the looks are LC, nothing striking though.
ReplyDeleteI would wear every damn thing in that collection. Lauren Conrad is so underrated in the fashion world.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see how it does. I'm loving that little dress!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress! Maybe Style Network will pick up her show, I love that chanel!
ReplyDeleteI really love the collection, I'm definitely going to buy a few pieces for sure!
ReplyDeleteI am still on the fence about this collection. It is lovely, no doubt about it. But I agree, the price point is far to high for such ordinary styles.
ReplyDeleteloving this collection...as well as the name "paper crown"
ReplyDeletelove this!
