Rachel Zoe Resort 2012 Lookbook

resort-2I wrote about Rachel Zoe's 2011 lookbook back in February, and I actually really enjoyed a good amount of her pieces. But I think that her 2012 resort collection is much more her style. Granted, some items were hit or miss, but these are a few of my faves.

resort-1Also, I thought this post would be fitting seeing that I'm currently reading Rachel's Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty and Everything Glamour.

I've been using the collage feature on Picasa a ton recently so sorry if you're tired of seeing these, but I'm just having so much fun!

    I hate when designers do that for their lookbooks! Just because you're a celebrity and have your own line doesn't mean all the models must look like you! It's bizarre branding.

    Surprisingly, I do like and would wear most of these pieces.

    it kind of is weird. I had to go back and check again to see if that was her or not. I like these pieces but you're right, its really only about her style.

    I haven't seen this yet, but it is a ton more Zoe than the last collection. I love the top right look, but they're all fabulous. She just gets it right every time.

    Rachel always says that if she wouldn't wear it then how will her clients wear it? Which makes sense, that her model looks like her, she is her biggest fan. But I love all of her clothes, they are so chic!

    Hahahaha, my first thought at the images: "wow, that model looks like rachel" yeah a little weird, but does NOT take away from the clothes. The collection looks so good. My fave is the drapey halter, so beautiful and wearable.

    I Love it! The looks are definitely my style and represent Rachel Zoe very well! Even down to her deep red lipstick is so Rachel...lol.
